Well, I have to admit, it is quite scary to think that in a little more than one month, the world will see just what it’s like to be a new agent starting to work in the already over crowded world of Montclair area real estate. April 29th HGTV will begin featuring my son, Greg, as a new member of The Lane Team and his full steam ahead plunge into the “shark” infested waters of life in Montclair real estate. I have to laugh when I say that because I was referred to as a “shark” in the world of Montclair real estate over 10 years ago by The Wall Street Journal.

This entire venture was undertaken with the hope that the general public would be able to get a glimpse of exactly what the trenches are like for the Montclair areas most successful real estate team. While, as far as I know, only Greg and I appear on the show, footage was filmed of our entire team: Jessica, my daughter, Pam our team leader, Debbie our client care coordinator and Wendy our special services manager. My mother, formerly a sales agent in  Montclair, but now tearing up the tennis world in Boca Raton, was even interviewed! Not to be left out of the picture was my youngest son, who was asked about his brother’s challenges ahead. Oh, I guess my son Doug and my daughter in law Keli may feel left out in LA.

Once again it is time to turn my thoughts very gratefully toward our past clients who have continued to be fantastic sources of referral business. The first quarter of 2007 has brought with it new challenges to the ever changing world of Montclair, New Jersey real estate. Thank you again…keep those referrals coming.
